Seasons in the Vineyard at De Loach

Join the crew at De Loach Vineyards for an educational tour behind the scenes in the vineyards of our Estate property. Sophie Drucker, their Director of Winegrowing, will give you a deeper understanding of how wine grapes grow and explain the importance of organic and biodynamic farming. This “grass to glass” experience will enhance your wine education in a fun, casual environment.

“We begin in the tasting room with a welcoming splash of bubbly, then Sophie will guide you to our vineyard, where she will explain where the vines are at in their stage of development. Conversation points will include pruning; cover crops; bud break, flowering, and fruit set; the effects of drought and rain on the vines; and much more. Wear your boots and bring a jacket; we will proceed rain or shine. After the vineyard walk, enjoy a picnic lunch in our lovely Sycamore Grove, along with delicious DeLoach wine!”
