Founded in 1985 by Dr. Elias Hanna, the winery was a place for him to continue his farming heritage and pursue his passion for winemaking. In 1991, his daughter, Christine Hanna, took over the family business. Since then, Christine has led HANNA’s expansion as a notable producer of Sauvignon Blanc, Burgundy, and Bordeaux varieties. HANNA Winery & Vineyard’s head winemaker, Jeff Hinchliffe, joined the business in 1998 and has played a significant role in the winery’s success.
